About This Project

Project Solver have held proud long-term working partnerships with the Post Office for many years.

WE hold ‘Preferred Partner’ status and back in 2015 we were employed by the Post Office team to carry out the Fixed Wire Testing (EICR) of the electrical circuits across the Post Office portfolio of approximately 340 sites on a 5-year rolling programme. The Post office sites vary in shape and size and are spread throughout the UK. As a business we have nationwide coverage so this is not an issue for our operational delivery. In addition to the Fixed Wire Testing (EICR) works, we also carry out many varying electrical upgrades and electrical remedial works. So far we have carried out varying sizes of electrical upgrades to around 319 of the Post Office sites. This has been a very complicated project and involved lengthy amicable discussions with the client and often involved night time and weekend working. Part of our remit was to cause as least disruption as physically possible to the sites so that they can be open for normal trading. Our dedicated teams of inspectors and direct operational management of each of these individual projects from our project’s division was led by our Operations Director, this insured that these varying complicated projects always ran smoothly and we were in constant dialogue with the individual Post Offices and the Post Office team to meet their timescales.
